Ok

...............it is raining again. The dogs have athelets foot , should that be paw, one of the cats has an abcess the size of St Pauls, and I need to clean the house. HOWEVER I have no inclination to go and find the hoover, I am prevaricating, what do you do to avoid the things you dont want to do????? Cup of coffee anyone?

Oh it was many amny years ago, but it has left a mark! I used to ride and run marathons now I drive and eat marathons! Probably part of the problem in this crummy weather, I cant get out to do what I want, I creak like an old gate in the wet.

I used to gromm a bit for Antonia Maas and her carriage pairs in England trotting them around the lanes, it was great! I just dont have enought o do any more!!!!

We,( & thats the royal we as they are my wifes horses) have Alfie, my brother - in laws's 29 year old ex. english racehorse here en retraite,( oh dear! a french phrase), plus Ty Loroux, a new, to us, 6 year old french trotter who is the most gentle lad you could imagine. Tylou is a replacement for Diva, our 18 year old trotter who sadly had to be put down 2 months ago because of a twisted gut.

I don't do anything apart from when "it's cold I go to the stable etc"

We used to have a shetland who pulled a carriage. That was a fun way to visit the local bar. Still got the carriage & harness but sadly the pony is no longer with us.

Sorry to hear about your accident.

And I just love the smell.................mmmmm. I miss riding but it is totally interdit since i was smashed up in a car, I have thought about driving, bt I think it would be just as bad. Miss that lovely connection. Lucky man! what do you have and what do you do with them?

If it's cold I go to the stable & talk to our horses. They don't expect intelligent conversation, don't answer back & don't half warm your hands if you let them breath on 'em!
