Perhaps it’s my background, or the world we live in but I assumed a cyber attack when I read the headline, but it appears to be physical acts of sabotage.
I think that sort of attack possibly fits in more with the French psyche. Probably much harder to get caught in France as well.

Just talking to friends who have a gite here in L&G. Their guests who live in Paris have just cancelled because they have no means of getting here. They were supposed to be coming down by TGV.
The gossip is 850,000 people have been affected by the sabotage. We were discussing the impending scenario - people not being able to leave Paris, so not being able to vacate their properties for incoming visitors.
Any of you from the Paris area, is it really this bad?
