Hi everyone,


We just wanted to say hello to anyone and everyone - not very personal until we actually put faces to names but I'm sure that won't take long!


We bought in December after a very long search, and we officially move out in July / August. Until then its 'flying' visits of a week or two based around the UK school holidays and Julie's job in Education. We are out in just a week - with our first few 'battles' to be had with EDF on site to give us an electrical supply, with builders giving quotes, and with termite exterminators of all things!! We know it will be a steep learning curve - not least of which is our improving French Language - or not as the case may be!!


We are just off the lovely D708 - if anyone is passing and wants to say hi and give a word of advice about renovating a pile of stones then please feel free!!!

Thank you each for your comments!! We look forward to coffees on terraces and all of that! I'm sure the sun will shine as soon as we come out ... at the moment we live in flooded Worcester so you could say that we are 'tuned in' to soggy ground.

You are a bit far away from here but wish you were closer. I have friends with the family name Light. I could then say I know the Darks and Lights ;-)

Best of luck with the move and all else anyway. I don't know that part of the department but hope it lives up to you dreams. We live in a pile of stones that still needs lots of work after several years but every morning when there is the littlest glimmer of sun and I look out of the kitchen window as I make my coffee I smile in true contentment.
