On the other hand, why learn French

Yes, don’t I know it, those who use uber franglais “as corporate speak” it doesn’t amuse them when I correspond in English between Anglophiles & copy them in LOL, sometimes I get reminded we’re in France & we have a language. My reply, “I thought you said “it’s corporate speak”, I just took it up a level”. Oh well you can’t please them all. But it still does my head in.

I’m French. One of my favourites is ‘Mettre du beurre dans les épinards’: extra money; and ‘ça fait une trotte’: it’s quite far.
