I have just done my online URSSAF quarterly business. In theory it is quite good and I certainly prefer being able to make online bank transfers.
One issue though. When I sign in it asks me for a password but for two quarters in a row despite me putting the correct one in it does not recognise it so I have to go through the forgotten password rigmarole. This quarter it asked me an easy security question but then the answer I gave, the correct one, was not recognised. So I had to go through the business of getting a new password again.
OK, it takes a couple of minutes, so I am hardly hard done by or madly inconvenienced. However, is it happening to other people? If they want to get the service more efficient they need to be told about these things.
It's my general observation that the French are about 10 years behind the UK in many aspects of interracting with the internet. This manifests in many ways including the one you raise here - a publicly accessible site paid for by government funding that appears to have been designed by thirteen year-olds!
It does make me appreciate that actually, government run sites in the UK are created and maintained to quite a high standard.
Oh don't get us started on how annoying the AE website is! We have been trying to register for months and we get so far and then there's an error. I found a notice saying there was essential work on the website until 22 July so I tried again last night and it worked. Only 8th time lucky! But then my husband, who has already registered, tried to check his account and it wouldn't recognise his password! Who knows...
I don’t too much about your particular situation, however, if you only sign in quarterly to banks, commercial enterprises etc they require a more frequent sign in or they block your password thinking you no longer require it. Hope this helps.
I did mine a couple of days ago. It did have a small glitch in as much as it said the site was currently unavailable but then it seemed to go in anyway. I freaked a bit but it did seem to be the legit httsp:// version. No problems with password and/or sign in though.
