Ok, heres one for all you local experts out there in cyber space.



I have been asked by one of my micro station installers, and I don’t have a clue hence this post,

" do you need an operators licence in France for a 7.5 ton lorry "

I believe that as this person would not be transporting for a third party he would not have to be registered with the register of transporteurs.( Which is like the UK Operators licence) Best to enquire of the préfecture. He'd certainly need the C1

but is he not working in France?

Now I have to show my ignorance! I don't know what the difference is - did your installer have to get an operator's licence in the first place?
