Are they even a thing nowadays? As a young BAe apprentice many moons ago who would be working on classified projects, I once had a fun-filled morning being informed of just how many different ways I could find myself in HMP Parkhurst by a lovely Special Branch chap.
I thought that the stuff you were dealing with would be official secrets act stuff. but D notices were more on the level of protecting te names of the Queen corgis from ISIS.
