I have just spent 30
As far as I have always known France Telecom bought Orange and they then rolled all their IT related services into it. As I have said before or unless I have been lucky you can get out of Orange what you put into it. It is a two way relationship and by putting in the effort I have got out the results that I wanted.
I thought that Orange is now the new name for the whole France Telecom group ?
Ah you see Raymond this is one of the joys of the modern more efficient world. France Telecom own the lines. Orange is a client. France Telecom aren't that bothered about their lines as long as Orange their former family member can reach their targets for so-called reliability. As far as any of the other telephone providers who do not do anything but buy space on the network they can go screw themselves as long as the minimum contract terms are obliged. Come back GPO all is forgiven. What our neocon world is working toward is this. You can have a basic sevice which will be shit but don't complain if it breaks down because it's your democratic entilement or you can pay unknown parties to provide the service at a price superior to that you might have paid under a state monopoly.
I can confirm that the call centre is just outside of Paris.
Yes but, they do not seem to be interested in customers wit only line rental!
I normally find them very efficient. Last year I got straight through at 06.00 on May the 1st to report a dead Livebox. I suspect the call centre was in N Africa but service was excellent.
Thank you, my French is OK but I will certainly keep this number.
I upgraded my contract with Orange a few months ago and I have to admit although it was hard work it was well worth the time and effort put in. Anytime I have a problem I always ring the English language help line on 09.69 36.39.00 and although one does have to wait maybe up to 15 minutes I have always been more than happy as they have always sorted out my problems. I use an Orange agent in Mirande called DG Informatique and our local Orange shop is in Auch and am more than happy with the service that they have provided.

You clearly have a link to the internet somehow or you wouldn't be on here now. Use the link above which should get you in to the appropriate bit of the Orange espace client. You can then report your problem in French or English by filling in the formulaire and sending it to Orange
I have just spent 30 very frustrating minutes trying to contact Orange on 1013 to report a line fault; I had tried several times before, but no-one was available. This time it was only a 10 minute wait, so I hung on.
I first tried on the internet, but it appears that I'm not allowed to contact them that way unless I have a mobile or internet account.
My only option appears to be to drive 40km to Albi or Gaillac and talk to them in their shop at Leclerc. I thought that F Telecom was bad, but this is a new level of customer disservice. How can we express our dissatisfaction, apart from leaving them en-masse?
