Orly to Boulogne sur Mer

Hi all,

Given recent events in the Vallée du Gave, I forgot to prepare my trip for an upcoming wedding on the 13th July.

I have to be in Boulogne sur Mer for a wedding at 3pm on the Saturday 13th July. There is a flight from Lourdes that gets me into Orly at 08h50 in the morning. The problem is that I am having trouble figuring out my route from there to eventually arrive either at Somme where I can be collected or in Lille where I can also be collected by someone else.

Does anyone have any suggestions or pearls of wisdom to impart?

Many thanks in advance.

Thank you both for you help (and to David Hunt for his suggestions via PM).

Luckily I have managed to sort out a lift from St Quentin with some other guests so all is well :)

There are hourly trains from Gare du Nord to Lille and I think the RER serves Orly. Go to Voyages.SNCF for train times and bookings and to the airport site for connections to Paris Gare du Nord. I think there's also a navette.

This is probably a really dumb suggestion but have you tried either Google Earth or Google Maps where you can click on Get Directions, put in your starting point and destination and get not only detailed turn by turn directions but also even photos of the turns/roundabouts etc
