Our greatest chef has died

Joel Roublochon has diers at the age of 73;
His name will live on forever with those who love fine food.

V sad, young too, I will make that mark later this year, :thinking: , did I hear his trade mark dish was mashed tatties Barbara?

I can make a decent mash, do I get the stars? :-1::-1:

@Mark … not unless you can do this too… :relaxed:

Maybe you can put a bit of courgette in it, to be creative :wink:

He looked very nice in his chef’s tunic with tricolour collar, and I thought his face and wide smile resembled that of Mr Toad of Wind In The Willows, only more French.

But must confess I’d never heard of him until now. And I have seen French housewives whipping up spuds in his manner. Shall give it a try some day, possibly with courgette, we’ve got a barrowful already.
