Owls - getting rid of

Unfortunately my daughter is cat allergic !!

We are in a village with three street lights next to or close to the chai and they don’t seem to deter the owl.

The assumption is that it’s a barn owl simply because we spotted one in the garden one evening. But since we also have black kites, buzzards and something like a kestrel I suppose I may be miscalling the owl!!

I’m not an expert on bird pellets !!!

Before you can get rid of it, you do need tofind out what it is. If it were a barn owl you could install a barn owl friendly nest box on the outside, facing east, for example. That would offer an alternative accommodation should you evict it from the barn.
