Newest idea is to introduce republican values/ patriotism etc… in the schools…
Thanks for this Stella. Must say I have instinctive dislike of flags in all classrooms. It seems a little too much. Though it doesn’t specify the size and I can’t imagine french teachers encouraging too much reverence (for a coffee in the morning perhaps but not for some highly coloured fabric 
)
