Pension to be paid into French or UK bank account

Morning All

Thanks for all the replies.

I was thinking of having my pension paid directly into my French bank account and your comments have reinforced that decision.

I always like to run ideas on the forum as I find the wealth of experience and advice here to be first class.

How the hell we got onto British sausages I don’t know

Have a good day all

Ssshosshhissshhez!

Always quick on the trigger or up the lamp-post, @graham! :ocean::smiley:

I have just transferred £5,000 at 1.0955, using Worldwide, when the rate on the BBC was 1.1059.
Banque Postale will take a smidgin of the € 5,477.50 when it arrives but I still think it is a good way of doing it.

Better than CA that once reneged on an agreement not to charge a fee on several thousands if I opened a savings account with them, and later charged me 30% on a German €100 Euro cheque I paid in. Yes, I got 70 euros out of that little bit of work. :rage:

I walked across the street and have been happy with Banque Postale ever since. :slightly_smiling_face:

1.09, ouch! Beans for tea again?

1.10 at the close, I don’t consider a penny too expensive for the service, no other charges and a lousy rate is a lousy rate, can’t change that.:frowning:

Can’t change it. But it still hurts!
