What has peoples experience been of dealing with Covid-19 in France?
By and large our experience has been very positive.
Plenty of information, free masks handed out by the Commune and the Communates des Communes. Click and collect shopping has been pretty easy except in the initial days of panic.
Easy access to financial support from the Impot for the self-employed, plus the occasional surprise bonus from organisations such as La CIPAV. Just glad that we are “in the system” and not flying below “the radar”.
By comparison with friends in similar situations in the UK we are a great deal better off.
