Can’t see why not if the new pump comes within their definition of eco friendly.
The only problem I can see is that the new system wasn’t declared on your tax forma last year.
Possibly Peter. I got a email from the Impots during the week telling me that I’ve until December 15 (I think) to modify my 2019 submission so l’ll have a look.

I think you might be able to arrange a face-to-face with the Tax office… which I must confess, I find the best way to sort queries…

Oh, I know our hotel des impôts well, though they’ve gone a bit appointment only ish over the last few years. Generally very friendly and helpful. They even told me to go away and come back in six months when I mistakenly paid VAT on a car in the UK. They also refunded a fine for late payment of Impots a few years back because I’d track record of being a good boy.
