I recently moved my RamgeMaster 110 Gas Cooker from the UK to France. I do not have access to Natural Gas at my property. Does anyone know ow or can recommend someone to do this conversion (Limoux Area)? Thanks in Advance Cory
I know the type you are referring to. I had an “up and downer” with the tech staff as I failed, and still do, to understand how any appliance can be manufactured that cannot be adopted.
Sorry for duff advice.
Martin, Thanks for the reply I suspect your model is the "dual fuel" one where the jets are visible looking at the burners. Unfortunately, it is my luck where the jets are not visible (they are hidden inside the burner housing). Regards Cory
Cory,
We have a similar cooker and converted the appliance ourselves. You can get the nozzles/jets from the Internet for, I think, about £20. It’s a 15 minute job with a socket set.
Mix up some washing up liquid and water 50/50 and apply around all of the bottle and hose connections to check for leaks one you have finished and have opened up the bottle. Any leaks will be obvious with loads of bubbles.
In addition, make sure your kitchen has a floor level vent just in case you have a leak in the future.
