I have a question regarding the rules and regulations for treating animals in France. Last year I started the first module of a four module course to become a canine massage therapist, I was still living in the UK at that time, and had no idea that I would be living in France this soon! I would like to continue with my course, which involves working case studies. In the UK, to do this I had to gain written veterinary permission and have relevant insurance cover, is this the same requirement in France?

Since July 2013 rules and regs have been changing.
You'd need to contact the Direction Departmentale Services Veterinaire in your department to see what is required here Christine, as they may require that you have a certificate de Capacité too.
