Good Morning All, Bonjour a tous.
Thinking about what I could do, to keep myself busy and also save a few bob, in my wish list to move to Normandy. I thought about rearing ducks from eggs. After researching, the idea the grew into breeding them for meat as well ( for the freezer).
Then it became uncontrolled, and elevated to keeping a small controlled stock for eggs and meat, but selling locally.
Does anyone in the forum have knowledge of what hoops have to be jumped through to achieve that ?
I am guessing, you would have to register as self employed , taxes etc if gaining monetary value.
The selling of animals & eggs ( being for consumption) I have no idea if viable on a relatively small scale… for licences/ registrations / insurances etc
