Every Xmas i get really angry that our village, and I presume, the rest of France, leave the street lights on all night. Think of the amount of euros that are just being wasted. Everybody's in their pits, and don't care anyway!

We use a scythe Chris - and would love to recommend it to our Mayor but he, like others of the same persuasion, seems to think that if it ain't Noisy and pumping out petrol fumes it ain't Worth it!
A French communes job is to borrow and spend just like everyone else.
Ours has just decided that its borrowing is too low and therefore ordered all new equipment for destroying the roadsides and wildlife.

There's a little known Euro incentive which encourages the switch off. We'd appreciate it as one is right outside our window!
