Hi all. I have posted this previous ly but am still struggling.
I bought a previoulsy Italian registered car and cannot get the prefecture to register it here.
Along with all the usual documents, they are insisting on the original of the certificat di proprieta.
I am informed that this would have been returned to the Italain prefecture when the car was exported so is not available. I have a photocopy of it but the prefecture here will not accept it.
I now have two car I cannot use (the other is subject of my other post))
Please, has anyone actually registered an Italian car here - and can they tell me what documents were needed in addition to the usual ones.
