Hi, everyone. Looking for some advice.
I’m planning on coming to France for 10 weeks to be with Parisian friends and to more thoroughly enjoy a country I’ve been to numerous times on short vacations. However, I’m not working right now and would like to rent a bedroom for cash. I would pay the entire amount, all 10 weeks, up front. Two questions: 1) is such an arrangement considered odd, or a non-starter, in Paris? And what is the best resource (website, newspaper, etc.) to find a bedroom to rent? I’m 51 years old, so I’m not a student who can sleep on floors!
