Replacement parts for furnace

Hey,

Looking to replace an integral cast iron piece for an older model furnace to avoid the cost of a new one.

Model: Chappee

Type: XP 28 CS

The “smoke box” on the back has a crack in it.

Best course of action? I could call a bunch of repair people but am thinking there may be other courses of action? Advice?

Thanks,

Mike

Micheal you might be able to find someone prepared to try welding it but cast iron is brittle and is hard to weld. If you send me some photos of it, inside and outside where the crack is, I might be able to help. I renovate antique woodstoves..

Can you get it welded maybe?
