Rose Elliot has been described as the UK’s foremost authority on vegetarian food. I tend to agree.

She makes it nice and simple to make all veggie dishes in my opinion.
I value my copy of Rose Elliot’s Vegetarian Cookery even though we are not vegetarian. Some of her recipes are so delicious that it matters not you aren’t veggie.
Her indian curry recipe is our favourite and I make it often. I just cannot understand people wanting to find outlets to buy curry mixes in France when it is so simple and cheaper to make your own!
She has just republished her Complete Vegetarian Cookery.
I reviewed that as well - it is updated, with some glossy photos, and some of the more dated recipes have been removed.
Rose was delighted with both pieces, and she intends to get them up on her website, so I am very pleased!
