I hear that the long awaited merger between Ryanair & Lidl has now taken place following their long courtship of identity branding. Both companies seeking the same social martket segment, claim to have addressed the mutual needs of both parties. They are now turning their attention to resolving the problems of long queues at check in for Ryanair and at check out at Lidl.
I don't understand all the nonsense talk which regularly appears on forums and blogs about Ryanair,Aldi and Lidl. They are three of the best run , efficient and best value companies around, they have filled gaps in the market and are growing rapidly as people realise they have been duped for years by the so called market leaders.
Ryanair worries me…cut-backs when thousands of feet above ground. Lidl I shop first in for basics and find their value for money excellent. Their margins are minimal compared to many others. I have got used to their bleakness…not Waitrose for sure but still good value.
I wonder if there will be a restriction on bag size or weight at Lidl now?! I visualise Lidl " police" standing at the exit doors checking to see if we have bought enough....; p
Tremendous news! Rylid has a certain ring to it. Both do what it says etc. Great respect for both organisations who put the customer first which Air France and the biggies certainly don't.
hope that's from the onion, lol, but two brands that I despise, makes it so much esier to avoid both now.
