I have Radio 4 on all day in 2 rooms 7 days a week, so how have I missed the programme I heard this morning? I was up late so may have something to do with it but even so.
There was a brilliant programme on called Nathalie Haymes Does The Classics and it was a fact packed history of Alexandre the Great and specifically his founding of Alexandria in Egypt but with humerous inserts throughout which did not detract from the genuine history.
Before I knew what I was listening to I thought she sounded like Sue Perkins, similar voice, similar humour. I will try and remember to listen again.
