When we went to Jarnac I was totally astonished to find that my favourite Cognac houses, Hine and Delamain were next to each other.
Haven’t they been linked together over the years… ??? so many businesses change hands/merge that the lines blur… and it is difficult to remember who owns what… 
I think they that remain independent, but they are placed Hine in front facing the river and Delamain behind.
Purely historic, but as they are my two favourites it was amusing to see that.
Both nice and handy, for a visit, a dégustation… and perhaps a purchase…
