Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a vintage sewing machine serviced in the Carcassonne area?

Hi Peter,

Thank you for this, I’ll call in next time I’m in Carcasssonne. Hope they can either service the machine or point me in the direction of someone who can. I have a couple of computerized machines but they are not a patch on my ancient Singer so I really would like to keep it in fully working order if possible.

Catherine, You may have tried this already, but there's a Singer shop in Carcassone at 30 Ave Franklin Roosevelt. The Singer parent company, SVP, now seem to own most of the western brands of sewing machine, so they could probably put you on the right road, if nothing else. See details of the shop here.
