Ahhh well I was up loads earlier than normal (6am - which to me is quite ungodly enough!) and it was showing he’d posted only 2 hours earlier so seemed reasonable but you could be right he could have just had a late one

Site update today - petit problem with the site banner and page format.
On going to an existing thread, the top subject banner is partially covering the details of the post as can be seen in the graphic below:

The user icon is partially hidden by subject banner on FF (on Linux PC).
Seems to work fine on FF on mobile but is the same on iPad (6th gen iOS 14.2)

I have that all the time…

I’ll investigate, thanks

Not for me… only just appeared like that since the update.

Having said that, the abbreviated banner looks good
Did you miss the Amazon uk link purposefully?

I’ll add that one, thanks!

What OS and browser are you using @JaneJones

An ipad and ? I am a techno-idiot so just ignore weird things as beyond my competence to understand or fix them…

If anyone can upload screenshots of the issue it will be easier to fix, thanks!

Not sure this works but see Grahams post

was my screen shot not good enough then @james ?
Another issue. On Android app (using FF) the banner is not fully visible. You have to slide the screen to the left to see the user icon as the screen ends at the hamburger menu.

Not the full screen:

Then scroll screen left to see the right portion:

Pinching the screen doesn’t alter this behaviour. Is it because the banner is to wide to fit?
It fits OK if the screen is rotated (but then you don’t see much of the content)…

Your screenshots are certainly good enough Graham!

The more information we can supply to the Discourse team the better, they will see this thread today so the detailed reports will save me trying to explain the issues we are experiencing.

Mine is just ‘floating’ about a cm from the top and whatever you are reading goes behind it.

If it helps, I have/had none of the issues discussed. Running Firefox 83.0 on a 2016 MacBook Pro.

The android issue now seems fixed but persists on FF 83.0 (64 bit) 09:07 CET

I removed one of the sub menus so the three fit on mobile
