After the success of last years Secret Santa which saw gifts flying all over the world from the USA to New Zealand and France of course. This year I am happy to volunteer to organise the 2013 SFN Secret Santa - rules are the same as last year and it is open to ALL SFN Members.
If you haven't already done so...then please send me a friend request to confirm you wish to join in the fun and then once I've accepted your friend request please message me your name and address. It's important you message me after I've accepted otherwise when I accept I will lose your details (lesson learnt from last year)
I will then put all the names into a Christmas stocking and my lovely 3 girls will have the fun of doing the drawing of names. I will then message you to give you the name and address of your lucky recipient.
Gifts should be a maximum value of 5 euro and don't forget you will have to pay the postage so best to aim for something fairly lightweight as your gift could be going to any member anywhere in the world.
I will need all the names by 30th November and I will do the draw on 1st December and message you on that day with your recipients details. Please ensure you post your gifts by 13th December for Europe.
Don't forget its SECRET SANTA so don't reveal who you have been given as your recipient...
My post office informs me that they have returned my present to the sender. Apparently they only keep them for 15 days before returning and unfortunately i was on holiday.
Its the thought that counts, so when it arrives back at yours, please feel free to use it as your own and i'd like to set up a secret santa challenge to guess what it may have been.
Im really sorry about this and whoever you are, thank you very much anyway.
I have received my Secret Santa gift, a few days before Christmas but we left home for Normandy early December 19 , I didn't take my lap top with me to keep up with all the postings , I want to thank my Secret Santa for my gift, it arrived in good shape.
I have a couple of members who would like to thank their secret santa for their gift...I was found out anyway...but does anyone have a problem with me telling the recipient who their Santa was if they want to thank them or should we keep it Secret and if you want to thank them you post on here? Thoughts please?
I received mine today. My Secret Santa had my gift shipped direct from the supplier. It had an invoice in it so I know who she is. Thanks "Santa Suzanne", I will really enjoy my new book!
Hi all, if you haven't had your Secret Santa gift yet - please give him another week or so...I hear some of the reindeer disliked all the strong wind and rain we've been getting recently ;)
Well folks - the SFN Secret Santa 2013 is now under way - to all those participating this year have fun choosing your gifts - any problems do message me, otherwise once they are posted (anonymously if possible) you can sit back and wait for yours to arrive. We look forward to hearing what gifts you have received so please do share on SFN. A quick note from last year - international gifts do sometimes require customs clearance and so Santa has to declare themselves...don't worry as the recipient can ignore the packaging ;)
Last chance to join in SFN Secret Santa 2013 - another 3 signed up today. We're over 30 across the world...if you haven't sent me a message yet and you want to join in, please do so today and I'll need your address. Names will be drawn tomorrow.
