I hope some of you can give me some ideas. I am getting ready to send some paintings (oil on stretched canvas) from France to the US. So any of you know of a company that you would recommend for both cost and reliability? I can put weights and dimensions on Parcels Please and La Poste once I have them packaged up but thought I would find out about any alternatives form people in the know! Thanks very much for the help.

It worked both ways, perfectly ok - they sub-contract - in this case I think it was DHL - but for some reason it's cheaper doing it this way.
The important thing is to package properly. I got some good painting packaging stuff from:
