Social charges on income from UK SIPP

We are early retiring to France and can access our UK SIPPS at 55. Please can anyone confirm if the that the social charges on pension income are, in fact, reduced.

We also will eventually rent out our UK flat to top up our income. We will declare this in the UK but it will fall within our tax free threshold. Will we need to pay social charges on the income in France on the UK rental income?

Any information will be greatly appreciated. We want to ensure we don’t make any costly mistakes.

Lots of useful information in various places on this site.
Look at this resource, page 6 for information about Social Charges on UK income from rentals.
