The British Pound rallied through the 1.20 barrier against the Euro yesterday following surprise news from the European Central Bank of an interest rate cut. This puts Sterling at a ten month high against the Euro.

There can be a down side as people with (unrealisable) assets in the UK may end up paying French ISF which will then more than gobble up any increase in income from the UK. They always get you somehow!
