HI john, we were advised a couple of years ago to declare all our uk bank and savings accounts or risk a 1500 euro fine on each account. it meant I cleaned up our banking and closed dormant accounts. I think this is an easy revenue generator for the tax man if he can get the information from the uk banks, whether that is easy to do remains to be seen.
