I'm not a lover of the form. I prefer to get my teeth into a novel, though not a blockbuster.


Any suggestions for your best short story?

Mine would be Poe's The Gold Bug. I've read it several times and each time the outside world disappears and I'm on that sandy Island looking for treasure. I also love Poe's The Black Cat and In French it would be Maupassant's Le Horla.
