That political discussion with occasional humour thread

Many of whom do a lot of the jobs that most Americans won’t do such as picking crops, manual labour in construction and other physically demanding very low paid jobs. Many employers in the South will not be happy if they are removed, and there won’t be sufficient numbers of ‘true’ Americans who will fill the large gaps at the same wages. I think in reality this is just high noise political theatre that will quietly be forgotten once it has served it’s purpose

You’re in favour of human trafficking and exploitation of the most vulnerable?

Good chat.

I’m not in favour, just pointing out that stopping slavery again in America will be a lot harder this time, because a lot of money is involved and so it will be quietly forgotten once it has served its purpose.

As if that was what this was about. If it were then they’d be targeting the employers rather than the victims.

If it was anyone else, I would think that was a joke.

It is. Created and posted on the Wakefield Post Facebook page. It’s a satirical site posting all kinds of made-up stories. The problem is when internet idiots post the stories elsewhere without the original context.

Can’t decide if that’s more weird than creepy, or vice versa…
