The art of storytelling

My sister is running this workshop in the Cevennes this August (in English):

Helen East’s southern France August storytelling workshop.

6 places now available for Weds 23rd - Mon 28th August. Participants will work from bare bones to performance of full story (plus intertwined song or music if desired). Our base is Florac, ancient town in the Cevennes national park. Our host, a qualified walking guide, will help plan and lead walks, inspiring/grounding stories in the landscape: mountains, villages, mills and farms, forests, stone relics, and particularly rivers, and lakes, encouraging a special focus on water spirit stories.

Accommodation in fine 18th century Florac town house - spacious bedrooms (two people sharing) each with ensuite shower room + WC. Total cost 450 pounds per person for 5 nights, including breakfasts, picnic lunches and 3 evening meals (leaving two evenings free for a wide choice of local restaurants.) Pick up from Nimes airport or railway station on the morning of Aug 23 and return lift on Aug 28. For further info (including cheap flights) contact Helen at heltell@gmx.com
