50 years ago we sat and watched this “new” comedy… loved it then and we’ve just rediscovered it on You-Tube (hurrah) 
It’s now on our list of “must watch”…
Our daughter loved it too… she was 3 years old and fascinated by the characters even if she didn’t understand all the script/jokes.

To this day, I remember the episode with Chris Langham.
My grandchildren have discovered Sesame Street on Netflix and really enjoy it especially the one who lives in the dustbin. The Muppets they have seen bits of and did not really like it, maybe a bit too old for them and its in English which they do not understand yet.
“too old”… ???
Our 3 year-old enjoyed it… and so did we… just shows we were young in those days 
and still are !!!
