In only 9 days, several months of planning and avoidance of any type of social life will come to fruition when we launch The Poitou-Charentes Journal! A real newspaper, it contains 28 pages of news and views from around the region written by professional journalists, including a great pull-out Directory full of local businesses.
Initial response has been fantastic - there’s a real need for quality news across the region and the fact that it is FREE is an added bonus. Once it rolls off the presses early next week, we’ll be off delivering all 10,000 copies so if anyone has a favourite watering hole or shopping spot, let us know and we’ll try to include it. The Journal will be distributed through the 3 local airports (Poitiers, La Rochelle and Limoges)as well as through supermarkets and businesses across all 4 departments.
The newspaper will also be online, just log onto our website at www.thejournal.fr
