Are giving up being senior royals and are going to divide their time between the UK and the US .Might have been better if they had decided this sooner before a vast amount of money was spent on housing,security,a wedding etc

Millions on doing up a residence for them ? I am not actually anti the royals and have a soft spot for Harry but I think he has been manipulated

No I admit I wouldnât either, but I have a feeling that in a few years the breakout hit of the fall US tv season will be â Wake up with the Windsors â or some such

Iâm not having that argument Stella, I agree that the royals more than earn their keep I just think there is something a bit odd going on
Itâs only âoddâ if folk feel they should be able to understand the decisions made by someone else ⌠and actually find that they do not understand it at allâŚ
Hence one then says âmm⌠thatâs a bit oddâ ⌠this can apply to all and any of usâŚ
Itâs part of the âhuman conditionâ to seek to understand the why and wherefore⌠of whatever. 
How can any of us even get close to what the Royals feel⌠our lives are so very different, with different stresses etc etc

I agree with this. There are many whose lives are hideously deformed by circumstances outside their control, and for which the only remedy is death itself.
I think the Royals, who did not choose the lives they have to perform, are prisoners with no hope of parole. No apparent luxury or âprivilegeâ can compensate them for their loss of basic autonomy and privacy. They are being cynically used, systematically sucked dry like husks.
They have my genuine sympathy; although I think monarchy is a corrupt and corrupting institution, those trapped in its ghastliness are innocent.
I hope the âSussex Threeâ can escape it, and be normally miserable and twisted, like the rest of us.

Apparently the Palace are not happy and were not informed about this in advance, could this be the beginning of the end of the UK monarchy as we know it?
Doubtful. It will do no more than confirm what The Queen has always known, the royals and yanks are not a good mix. Her uncleâs association with one all but destroyed her father.

Well as the current misgovernment seems intent on destroying the Union despite being called the Conservative and Unionist Party we might as well get rid of the Monarchy at the same time.

Another notch on the witches broomstick. She has an excellent record of wrecking relationships. Seems Harry is the next one on the tally. Will be interesting to see how long this relationship lasts and Hazzer comes crawling back to Granny.

I can sympathise Stella but this would be freely discussed around a dinner table,(and believe me the royals are) and some pretty extreme opinions have been allowed elsewhere on the forum. If you think some of the things said here are unpleasant ,you ought to see whatâs on Twitter about Megxit
