Couldn’t agree more. Let’s face it though, without the huge amounts of wonga being squandered, many “sports” would be dead in the water anyway. It’s either that or go back to the shady days of BAT bungs and Malboro’ mammies.
So many sports being ruined by the race to the bottom. If you want to watch good rugby for example, visit your local rugby club and stand ankle deep in the corner of a muddy field.
