To buy dressed stone near Nice

Finding it difficult to find dressed/precut stone to renovate our stone terraced garden walls. Does anyone know a supplier?

Thanks for response. Have found a local quarry Bono Terrassements, Vence. Limestone, cut on at least one face. 15 tons, € 1300 delivered

As a matter of interest, what was the particular French term used for the cut stone, as I also want to look for somewhere near me where I can buy. Thanks for the help

Une/deux face plate, or face taillée.
They may also be under carrosserie, or terrassements . Don’t forget WOM , asking on building sites and keeping your eyes peeled. Bonne chance .

There’s a very useful translation website called reverso which takes whole phrases and gives you a contextual translation as, for example, my looking up of “dressed stone” shows.

I’d say pierre de taille. Do you not call it ashlar in English?
