Well, being Scots, I wear a Kilt Tim

Now that has made me chuckle… :relaxed::relaxed: no reflection on you Bill…

but the “kilt” sketch out of one of the Carry On films just came to mind…:joy::sweat_smile::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Quite, Chris!

The commentators here have been very entertaining and they refer to Geraint Thomas correctly as der Waliser (as do the French, he is called le gallois not le britannique). I am in Germany

there’s a lot of money to be gained … in cycling…

There is Stella IF you are at the very top, a ‘domestique’ rider for one of the smaller teams will be on a basic salary of around £50k and if you don’t progress then you’re out.

One other thing that’s not widely known is that it’s normal for the TDF winner to split his winnings with the whole team in appreciation for their help over the previous three weeks.
