Transfering jobs to france-childcare and driving tuition

Hi,


We are newcomers to this site, so would really appreciate any replies on our question or best use of site/ means of getting info.


We had our first property/area search this june in midi-pyrenee's for property with a gite business or potential, so any info/comment on property or business in this area would be appreciated (also aquataine which we hope to visit next ).


My wife is a qualified nursery manager and I am a driving instructor, and we wondered if there was a need for these services in English ? We certainly will be improving our French so also wondered if anyone was involved in these business's in france and how qualifications transferred etc ?

I asked a neighbour about the driving instructor. You would be required to do a set training course for driving instructors for which you would need pretty good French since you also have to learn about paperwork, of which there is a pile. He was an instructor but now retired although he owns a driving school. Afraid he asked more questions than gave answers though but I suppose that was the gist of it.
