Syphon cartridges have CO2 in them. Harmless and not flamable. For carbonated drinks. The ones kids sniff are nitrous oxide, different cannister for a different purpose.

Yes, I could probably do that given my track record ! The weirdest thing happened as a sequel to my trash can experience.
We fixed the recycling misdemeanor and our recycling was removed. However, a second recycling bin appeared at the end of the driveway. We did not realize for 3 days. I thought that my other half had forgotten to bring the bin in. I kept meaning to bring it in. Finally, on day 3 we realized that we had 2 recycling bins! Itâs an old bin. We donât have neighbors in close proximity. Any ideas? Recycling bin fairy dropped one off? I hope they donât keep coming !

Yes. Identical just as old too! We have no idea where it came from. I hope that a neighbor doesnât think that we stole it.

Should I leave at the gate and hope that they reclaim it ? Itâs weird that this thing traveled down the street .
Is this the first time youâve lived on a street with dustbin collection? Where I used to live the dustmen often left bins in wrong place and most people ended up by painting a number on their bin so you knew whose it was,
Thank you for your reply. We have been in France for a year. We have only been in our home for 7 months. We donât have neighbors who are very close. We are still learning about our new life. I walk our dog twice a day and I have looked at the bins. No one seems to be missing one. I will use my dreadful French and investigate now that the holiday is over.
