Travel Insurance - do's and donts

Hi Steve, I am not sure where you are based, however if in the UK use one of the "compare" websites as Debbie suggests. Many of the policies have limits on the number of days travel , but if you are prepared to pay the premium you will find one that covers you. I use Colombus Direct http://www.columbusdirect.com/travel-insurance/annual-travel-insura... which covers up to a 60 day trip with unlimited number of trips. As always, read the small print especially if you engage in any sporting activities and any that are not organised.

You may also find your bank covers you for 'simple' travel insurance, but there may be limitations on business travel. Still worth a check provided you don't have existing health conditions.

Its worthwhile looking on Martin Lewis's site www.moneysavingexpert.com or www.moneysupermarket.com its not particularly complicated if you get an annual worldwide policy which are much cheaper than single trip if you travel 3 times per year or more.
