Today’s Guardian has reminded me of a moment in my life that gave me (and still gives me) complete and utter joy. I could not quite believe what I was seeing.
Which prompted me to remember another - sheer perfection, which lifts the heart.

Wow to both videos. Puts Strictly and Dancing on Ice at the bottom of the list as far as performances are concerned. Thanks so much Sue. Just spent coffee break this afternoon watching enjoying both of them.

we all huddled round the tv to watch that !!! great memory…
I think I even asked for skates for Christmas…
still became a lighting designer though…so another teenage fad

Wow, thank you @SuePJ , just watched the 2nd one again, first time I have seen it for years and there is only one word to decribe it, emotional. Can’t believe it is 41 years ago.
Going to watch the Irish one now, equally spellbounding, I watched it again only recently.
Breathtaking, and equally emotional. Oh my goodness, words fail me……..
