If anyone can give me some advice re. this I would really appreciate it.
We found a used trailer on Leboncoin and went yesterday to buy it.
It's 750kg 3m x 1.3m. There's no chassis number on it and its in very good condition and 7 months old according to the seller. So we handed over cash.
My question is do we need any paperwork for it? Does it need to be registered with its own number plate. Should the seller have given us any paperwork? I'm guilty of taking the seller's word rather than doing my own research, that it doesn't need a CT or its own number plate.
Getting confused as I'm reading that if it is a 2nd hand trailer it's not the same as if it was new.
Any help would be great!
