Hi all going for my booster vaccine on Monday but I have been sent email saying they are changing from
Pfizer to Moderna mRNA-1273 can anybody tell me why?
It’s probably just availability - there’s not much to choose between them.

I had my booster a couple of weeks ago ( I am still in the UK) - I was expecting Pfizer but was given Moderna. I asked the nurse who administered the jab and she said it was because of the storage requirements - the Pfizer vaccine has to be kept very cold, and at that location they didn’t have a suitable super-fridge!!

Ask them to aspirate the needle, safety first!
None of them do the job they are supposed to so it doesn’t matter.
