Valentines Day, are you romantic?

How sweet!

How commercial Valentine' s day is.

Way back at Chinon restaurant I would hate it as it was so easy to overbook!

And the worst time of the year to do that.....shattering romantic notions.

But I mastered the booking system eventually with couples arriving from

6/30pm and the last arriving at staggering the bookings to help the kitchen.

So glad that this is all over.

Yes..

I said to the chemist "Can I have some sleeping pills for the wife ?"

He said "Why ?"

I said " Cos' she keeps waking up !"

Last Valentine’s I called upstairs to my wife,

“What are you doing”

"Im just changing " she replied,

“Are you changing into someone younger” I jested,

That’s when the fighting started…

Now I know I left my romance somewhere! Perhaps it is in with the socks in the dresser, wardrobe perhaps or did the cat eat it? Trouble is I am an irredeemable romantic really but am with somebody who would want to know what I am up to if I make any kind of gesture :-(

Lol

I can just magine the chat-up line in best Wearsider to the lovely Nat..

"Heeey Pet, d'ya fancy coomin oot for'a paint at the Queen Vic ?"...

..."Ooh, by the weay, i've left mee wallet at werk ageane"...

I don't need one particular day in the year to express it. Do it all the time.

Sunday will be mostly revolving around rugby (pity the prefecture has cancelled our match though).

Need to catch up sometime and enjoy your meal.

Hello Peter

In answer to your questions...in order "No", "No" & "Yes"

Hope this helps
