I thought Trumpâs observation today that you donât need to kill everyone in an apartment block to target one individual interesting - a âno shit Sherlockâmoment. Now if he and the idiot Biden before him had twigged that (and Microsoft AI hadnât enabled the targeting) think how many innocent lives would have been saved in Gaza. The IDF war criminals who have targeted hospitals, schools, paramedics and journalists have scant regard for âcollateral damageâ.

Iranâs Foreign âMinister Abbas Araghchi said â a final agreement with the United States will include the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions.
Negotiations will start â on the same ââ day the memorandum of understanding â between the âtwo countries â is signed and will continue for 60 days, Araghchi said.
According to Al Arabiya, the agreement states that the U.S. will lift the naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz, refrain from imposing new sanctions and will not reinforce its forces in the region during the negotiations, while Iran will work to âensure safe passageâ of commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, free of charge, for 60 days. The U.S. also committed in the memorandum, according to the reports, to make frozen Iranian assets available upon implementation of the understanding.

A senior U.S. official told Reuters earlier Tuesday that Iran would be able to sell oil and fuel immediately after the deal is signed this week, but only if it complies with all agreed terms, including refraining from interference with freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and not obtaining a nuclear weapon.
A Pakistani source briefed on the talks and another source who spoke to Haaretz confirmed that billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets are expected to be released in four installments under a developing framework between Washington and Tehran.
The total is estimated at $24 billion, with disbursement conditioned on Iranian compliance with U.S. demands related to the Strait of Hormuz and progress in nuclear negotiations.

The sources said the arrangement would require free passage through the strategic waterway without fees, while also being tied to understandings in upcoming nuclear talks. The funds could be presented as targeted economic assistance for specific purposes, including mine-clearing operations in the strait.

Trump dismissed reports that his administration was considering a $300 billion fund for Iran as âfake newsâ in a post on Truth Social.
Vice President JD Vance said in an NBC interview that the agreement would include the return of international inspectors to Iranâs nuclear program, describing the deal as only a partial framework. In comments to CNN, Vance said the memorandum was âa very general documentâ and added he believed Israel would ultimately support it as it develops.

Later on Tuesday, Iranâs â top negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Israel must âwithdraw from âoccupied areasâ in â Lebanon.
He made the comments in a call âwith Lebanonâs Parliament âSpeaker Nabih Berri, as Tehran and Washington planned to sign a peace deal on Friday â to end their war. âThe people of âsouthern â Lebanon âmust return to their homesâ, Ghalibaf added in â a post on his Telegram channel.
Iranâs âtop joint military command, â Khatam al-Anbiya â Central Headquarters, said in a statement that Israel âshould expect a hard response from the Iranian armed forces if â it did not stop âits â attacks âon southern Lebanon.

Despite announcements that the ceasefire would also include Lebanon, strikes on the country have continued. Lebanese state media reported that four people were killed today in several Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. Lebanese outlets also reported that Israel struck a village beyond the Yellow Line,
The Lebanese News Agency said Israel carried out artillery fire on Jabal Ali al-Taher, the Rihan ridge and the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon. Al-Mayadeen, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that the group targeted Israeli forces near the village of Tebnine, also in southern Lebanon.
Also on Tuesday, Hezbollahâs media ârelations office told Reuters that the group â has âreceived assurances from Iran that it â will demand a withdrawal â of Israeli troops from Lebanon in its next phase of talks with the âUnited States. The withdrawal would be the result of, and not a precondition for, continuing talks between Tehran and â Washington.
The group added that â there would be âno nuclear deal between Iran and the United States âunless the Israelis withdrawâ from Lebanon.
However, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee responded to Hezbollahâs statement, saying that the group is not included in the U.S.-Iran deal.
â[Secretary of State Marco Rubio] made clear that Iran and Hezbollah arenât linked in a deal,â Huckabee wrote on X, adding that Israel does not need Iranâs âpermission to defend itself. The tether of terror must end.â
